Dr.KURT KINGHORN, DPM, FACFAS

Dr Kurt Kinghorn is a Board-Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon practicing in Meridian, Idaho.  After completing a Bachelor’s in Science degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, he received his 4 year medical degree at The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now Kent State University.

 

Subsequently, Dr Kinghorn completed a 3-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at St Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.  In his third year of residency, he served as Chief Resident.

 

Dr Kinghorn specializes in the 3D Lapiplasty Bunion correction system and has performed over 500 procedures making him the top performing surgeon in the Northwest.  His first Lapiplasty procedure was performed in 2017 where the owner of Treace Medical was present, after observing Dr Kinghorn’s surgical technique, Mr. Treace was impressed and invited Dr Kinghorn to join the Treace Faculty team to teach fellow surgeons across the country the Lapiplasty technique.  Dr Kinghorn enjoys the teaching experience and is excited to see the Lapiplasty procedure spread across the nation helping to correct one bunion at a time.   

 

Dr Kinghorn is an Idaho native and has been practicing in the Treasure Valley for 11 years at Ankle & Foot Medical Center.   In his spare time, he enjoys riding dirt bikes, hunting, and boating with his wife and 3 kids.
